Overview The Director of CRM Strategy will lead data-driven marketing initiatives across the client’s owned digital ecosystem. This role is responsible for defining CRM strategy, shaping program roadmaps, and driving activation across direct marketing channels. Additionally, the Director will orchestrate alignment between addressable CRM, paid media, enterprise web marketing, and e-commerce experiences to deliver seamless customer engagement.

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in developing innovative CRM programs, leading annual planning, and executing go-to-market strategies that leverage advanced CRM capabilities. This individual thrives in ambiguity, providing clarity and direction for cross-functional teams, and excels at synthesizing complex business insights into actionable strategies that drive acquisition, retention, and customer lifetime value.

Responsibilities

CRM Program Leadership durant>: Drive the development and execution of pre‑ and post‑purchase CRM programs in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Strategic Planning : Lead annual CRM strategy and planning, ensuring alignment with broader marketing and business objectives.

Client Partnership : Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.

Growth & Innovation : Identify opportunities for program expansion and performance improvement through proactive recommendations and incremental proposals.

Integration & Collaboration : Connect strategies across CRM, paid media, and enterprise marketing to create cohesive, customer‑centric experiences.

Creative Stewardship : Author insightful creative briefs that inspire impactful content and campaigns.

Team Leadership

Thought Leadership : Champion best practices and process improvements internally-env with client teams.

Consumer Insights : Leverage data, research and advanced analytics (including AI/ML) to understand consumer behavior and inform strategy.

Qualifications Required Skills & Competencies

Exceptional ability to communicate complex ideas through presentations, storytelling, and written content.

Expertise in synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights.

Proven ability to develop holistic marketing strategies, campaign roadmaps, and integrated experience plans.

Strong analytical skills in performance measurement, test design, and data‑driven optimization.

Proficiency in business case development and strategic recommendation delivery.

Skilled at navigating matrixed organizations and fostering cross‑functional collaboration.

Ability to lead in fast‑paced, dynamic environments with a high degree of ambiguity.

Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Desired Experience

10+ years of experience developing CRM programs and campaigns within an agency, consultancy, or marketing organization, with measurable performance impact.

Expertise in strategies spanning owned, paid, and earned channels.

Familiarity with consumer electronics or related industries.

Experience creating deliverables such as personas, customer journeys, communication architectures, campaign plans, and personalization strategies.

Strong background in insight development from diverse sources, including primary/secondary research, social listening, digital audits, and behavioral data.

Compensation Range: $129,485 - $177,200 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), and paid time off.
