Overview
TCS is looking to hire a Program Director for the Enterprise Solutions Units (ESU) Consulting Practice. This senior leadership role is responsible for planning, executing, and managing complex, large-scale transformation engagements for TCS clients, ensuring successful delivery across all phases. The Program Director oversees multiple transformational projects, including ERP implementations and business process improvements, coordinating timelines, resources, and capacity planning. The role manages program-level status, metrics, risks, and deliverables, leveraging broad business and technical expertise. The position requires exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the C-suite level. It is also accountable for driving business development, developing proposals, producing thought leadership, and representing TCS at industry events, reinforcing the company’s position as a trusted transformation partner.
Responsibilities
Lead large global business transformation program delivery with a strong understanding of transformation program/objectives.
Speak the business language, guide business counterparts toward the right SAP solution, and translate business requirements into technical requirements.
Lead sales opportunities and drive business development activities.
Provide hands-on leadership for specific functional streams as needed; work with C-level stakeholders and senior executives.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
Manage at least five full life cycle ERP implementations with multi-module coverage (Finance, Sales, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse).
Demonstrate extensive experience in transformational ERP consulting (10+ years) and at least six years in proposal and business case development.
Lead steering committee meetings, team meetings, business meetings, and project management activities; manage teams of 20+ resources.
Develop proposals, perform project estimation and planning, and ensure delivery of program deliverables.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required; ability to work without visa sponsorship and willingness to travel up to 100%.

At least ten (10) years of prior transformational ERP consulting or equivalent industry experience.
