About the Role

This role is ideal for someone with experience planning and executing paid media campaigns who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and wants their work to make a real difference in today’s political landscape. You’ll play a key part in shaping how our campaigns reach and persuade audiences, turning data and creative strategy into meaningful political impact. Working closely with senior members of the political and media teams, you’ll take ownership of campaign setup, management, and performance across Meta and Google Ads while also contributing to broader communications and messaging strategy. You’ll have opportunities to expand into other channels, such as connected TV. It’s a hands-on role where you’ll test strategies, analyze results, and translate insights into actionable improvements. You’ll collaborate with colleagues who value curiosity, precision, and creativity, and you’ll help bring to life some of the most dynamic pro-democracy campaigns in the country. Outside of election season, you’ll also contribute to research, political strategy, and communications projects that support our ongoing advocacy work. Your Responsibilities

Plan, launch, and manage paid campaigns on Meta Ads Manager (Facebook, Instagram, Threads) and Google Ads (YouTube, Search, Display). Execute campaigns with precise targeting, budgeting, and scheduling to achieve acquisition and persuasion goals. Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to improve reach, efficiency, and ROI. Produce reports and insights for internal teams to evaluate results and guide messaging strategy. Stay up to date on platform policies, ad formats, and performance best practices. Collaborate across teams to ensure creative assets and ad copy align with campaign goals and resonate with key audiences. What We’re Looking For

1–4 years of hands-on experience in digital media buying and political advertising. Strong familiarity with and hands-on experience using Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, including experience managing budgets and optimizing live campaigns. Strong understanding of how political messages and creative content influence public opinion. Analytical and strategic thinker with strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret performance data, and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Ability to be in the office (downtown DC) five days a week. This is not a remote or hybrid opportunity. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Familiarity with additional platforms such as X (Twitter), TikTok, or programmatic DSPs. Experience in advocacy, politics, or issue-based communications. Why Join Us
