Position Summary Responsible for leading the mapping and optimization of ADUSA Distribution and Transportation Network topography and efficiency. The director will lead teams to identify complex patterns and dependencies within the Network, resulting in operational solutions to real business problems.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Identify capacity-related issues proactively and work with systems, network, tools, operations and engineering teams to discover resolutions to SKU and capacity management to optimize operations.

Create key partnerships with Category partners to stand up a Sale & Operations Planning organization.

Work with managers and stakeholders, and gather input from other departments to allow the organization to go beyond asset utilization and production objectives in scheduling decisions, and to maximize performance by understanding the impact of those decisions on cost and working capital investments.

Re-optimize decisions by balancing cost, throughput, and yield across the Distribution and Transportation Network to extract the most out of the existing asset base.

Integrate financial and operational data to resolve trade-offs on a forward-looking basis to find the best network topography.

Realize leadership development and build a sustainable talent pipeline to develop and maintain the mid-to-long-term roadmap for network capacity, throughput, and transportation efficiency.

Collaborate with leadership in the development and evolution of supply chain strategies and initiatives.

Effectively communicate with senior leadership from other organizations to align resources and priorities towards achieving all savings goals.

Provide leadership that will motivate employees and promote change and growth.

Provide leadership and support in a constantly changing environment.

Foster associate engagement, commitment and enthusiasm, ensuring associates understand their role in the company and its impact on overall Banner performance.

Promote consistent high performance and execution with excellence.

Govern by guiding principles, financial constraints and overall strategy while working within the confines of a pre-identified structure, but able to identify and push the boundaries when necessary.

Responsible for the development, talent planning and performance management of associates.

Requires travel - typically 20 - 25%

Education Minimum:

Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.

Preferred:

Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA)

Experience with organizational change management

Demonstrated project management expertise incorporating Six Sigma, Lean Principles

Experience

Minimum of 7 years' experience in Distribution or Continuous Improvement environment

A proven track record of success in building, developing, and leading a diverse plan for logistics optimization

Strong financial planning and budgeting experience

Cross-functional project leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to build cross-functional teams
