Senior Investment Analyst | Real Estate | Hybrid DT Chicago | $90,000 to $115,000 + Bonus & Benefits
We are partnering with a well capitalized real estate investment firm based in downtown Chicago to add a Senior Investment Analyst to its growing team. This role offers direct exposure to acquisitions, asset management, and senior leadership, with meaningful involvement in underwriting, investment strategy, and portfolio performance.
The Senior Investment Analyst will play a key role in evaluating new investment opportunities and supporting existing assets across a diversified real estate portfolio.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain detailed financial models for acquisitions, developments, and recapitalizations, including cash flow projections, returns analysis, and sensitivity scenarios
Prepare investment memos, market analyses, and materials for internal investment committee and senior leadership
Support due diligence efforts across acquisitions, including review of leases, operating statements, capital budgets, and third party reports
Assist with asset management initiatives by tracking operating performance, variances to underwriting, and long term business plans
Conduct market and comparable analysis to support pricing, rent growth assumptions, and exit strategies
Collaborate with acquisitions, asset management, capital markets, and external partners as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
2+ years of experience in real estate investments, private equity, acquisitions, or real estate advisory
Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modeling experience required
Experience underwriting commercial real estate assets such as multifamily, industrial, office, retail, or mixed use
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly
Experience working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
