The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Director of AI to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI and machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), traditional AI/ML methodologies, and strong Python programming skills. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to create scalable and innovative AI‑powered applications. Responsibilities and Duties
Design and implement AI/ML architectures, including LLM‑based and traditional ML models. Develop and optimize AI solutions for scalability, efficiency, and performance. Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies, tools, and frameworks. Collaborate with data engineers to build robust data pipelines for model training and inference. Ensure AI systems align with business objectives and technical requirements. Drive best practices in AI governance and monitoring. Stay up‑to‑date with advancements in AI, LLMs, and ML algorithms. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software development teams, guiding them on AI architecture and best practices. Evangelize AI capabilities across the organization and provide strategic guidance on AI adoption. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the AI/ML teams. Advocate for AI‑driven solutions and communicate their value to stakeholders. Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field. Proven experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions in a production environment. Strong expertise in LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT, LLAMA) and traditional ML techniques. Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps tools. Knowledge of data engineering concepts, SQL, and NoSQL databases. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex AI concepts clearly. Pluses
Experience with AI‑driven applications such as chatbots, NLP, and computer vision. Familiarity with vector databases and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG).
