Position Title: Vice President, Private Equity
Location: On-premises in either Dallas, TX or Fargo, ND

We are a fast-growing, lower middle-market asset manager rooted in Midwestern values and committed to building strong partnerships. Our Private Equity team focuses on partnering with founders and families to acquire leading industrial manufacturing and services companies. We currently have five portfolio companies based throughout the US across manufacturing and business services sectors.
Position Description We are seeking an accomplished Vice President to join our Private Equity team. We are looking for a motivated, hard-working, resourceful individual to support and lead new deal execution, underwriting, portfolio strategy, and value creation. This position will work closely with an experienced team of investment professionals in a collaborative environment to identify, evaluate, and execute new investment theses.
Qualifications
6-10 years of post-undergraduate investment experience, with at least three years in private equity
Strong transaction execution background, including diligence, modeling, legal documentation, and financing
Strong communication and negotiation skills; capable of leading discussions with business owners, advisors, lenders, and investment committee
Experience with founder / entrepreneur-led companies and lower middle market transaction dynamics
Strong preference for private equity, family office, or some other form of principal investing experience
