Overview
Salesforce Developers (Must be a Citien or GC holder, no 3rd parties) – multiple full-time remote openings. Roles range from Mid to Lead level. While primarily remote, there will be on-site meetings once or twice a year; being local to Southern California is preferred. You must be a Citizen or GC holder to qualify.
You will play a critical role in coding, testing, and deploying Salesforce solutions. Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet business needs. Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative development lifecycle. Experience with Sales Cloud implementation is required.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions.
Build and maintain Visualforce pages, Lightning components, Apex classes, and triggers.
Document application development processes, integrations, and third-party system usage.
Coordinate and implement enterprise-scale projects, integrating third-party tools and custom applications.
Use Salesforce tools and technologies such as:
Salesforce Lightning, Force.com, Apex, Visualforce
RESTful and SOAP APIs
Data modeling and third-party application integration
Complete and configure solutions based on user stories and best practices.
Apply enterprise-level development practices:
Source code management, code reviews, and unit testing.
Analyze, clean, and model data to support reporting and business needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues; follow through until resolution or escalation.
Stay up to date on Salesforce features, technology trends, and vendor roadmaps.
Mentor junior Salesforce developers in tools, techniques, policies, and best practices.
Participate in Agile Scrum teams and ceremonies, including:
Sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and daily standups.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Certifications:
Salesforce Developer Certification (Preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 4 years of experience developing complex applications on the Salesforce Platform (e.g. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities)
Experience in mortgage lending or financial services preferred
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Salesforce administration (e.g. sharing rules, workflows, dashboards, Lightning App Builder)
Strong development experience using:
Apex, Visualforce, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
RESTful/SOAP web services
Force.com IDE, SOSL, SOQL, Migration Tools
Experience with object-oriented programming (e.g. Java, Ruby, C#, C++)
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
Sandbox and release management experience
Development using Lightning Components and custom sites
