Responsibilities

Support UX lead on projects at any phase (discovery, design, implementation)

Support research activities such as competitive reviews, heuristic evaluations defined by UX lead and participates in immersive activities.

Document current and future state experiences through the following XD artifacts: sitemaps, user/screenflows, wireframes, journey maps and personas.

Support ideation/exploration, sketching concepts and prototypes for wide range of digital touchpoints that may be governed by an existing design system for client or marketing tech platform.

Take direction from senior experience designers or Associate Experience Design Directors on assigned projects.

Actively collaborates in cross-disciplinary idea generation and attends client review sessions.

Craft shows focused, well-organized approach to XD artifacts relevant to project with an attention to detail.

Synthesize internal feedback quickly and is responsive with updates for maintenance related design work

Stay focused, manages time effectively and meets deadlines.

Articulates rationale for design decisions and approach effectively to internal team members.

Understands how to push back and communicate constructively to team members on changes XD artifacts

Assist in participatory design/user testing sessions and Information Architecture sessions

Identify and document meaningful patterns from the user research, audit the findings; provide recommendations to leadership

Assist in personas/segmentations based on research findings; integrate personas/segmentations with related deliverables such as opportunity maps and wireframes

Prepare, conduct, and analyze behavioral in-context research events

Find opportunities to build business value and improve the user experience

Create wireframes, user journeys/flows, as needed

Implement participatory requirements gathering sessions, participate in debrief sessions

Collaborate avidly as part as a team - partake in brainstorming sessions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in interaction design, human-computer interaction, or industrial design preferred. Certification programs, workshops and/or bootcamps also considered with 1+ years of professional experience with both agency and consulting companies

Real world practice of experience design demonstrated in the following areas: complex UX/UI patterns for marketing platforms, retail oriented transactional or ecommerce experiences

Able to operate seamlessly within medium to large-sized teams, preferably in a cross disciplinary digital agency

Proficient at creating key XD artifacts within design thinking methodology

Working knowledge of agile and waterfall methodologies, responsive web, atomic design and design systems.

Experience creating and enhancing Information Architecture to improve user experience, navigation and findability, manage content, and more

Experience in Quantitative Research is a bonus but not necessary

Ability to present internally to leadership and partners as needed

Self-starter, able to learn quickly and adapt to the best approach to solve.

Ability to direction and feedback with an open mind.

Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, Microsoft Office Suite, Sketch, Mural/Miro or similar

Compensation Compensation Range: $66,785 - $87,900.00 Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
