Asset Management & Association Services, Inc. (AMAS) is hiring a Finance Director
to lead our Finance/Accounting Department (4-5 staff) supporting
19 mission-driven organizations , including the Atlanta REALTORS® Association, the Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS®, multiple REALTOR® associations across North Georgia, a real estate school, and foundations. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on finance leader who can oversee multi-entity accounting, strengthen internal controls, and serve as a trusted partner to Association Executives and volunteer Boards.
Key responsibilities
Oversee multi-entity financial operations: AP/AR, payroll, GL, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial statements
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning
Prepare and present board-ready financial reports and insights
Manage audits and nonprofit compliance (GAAP, IRS filings such as Form 990/1099)
Implement consistent financial policies and improve processes/systems across entities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance/Business (Master’s/CPA preferred)
7–10+ years of finance/accounting experience (nonprofit/association management a plus)
Experience managing financial operations for multiple entities/funds
Strong Excel and accounting systems experience (Bill.com, Xero, ADP or similar)
Confident communicator with board-facing presentation skills
Nice to have: RAMCO, Wrike
$80,000–$90,000/year
