This senior-level role is responsible for independently evaluating and approving complex financing transactions across structured and asset-backed credit exposures. The position plays a critical role in safeguarding the organization’s risk profile by ensuring credit decisions align with established risk appetite, regulatory standards, and portfolio strategy. In addition to transaction approval, the role contributes to the evolution of credit policy, portfolio governance, and enterprise-wide risk practices. The position operates with a high degree of autonomy and provides thought leadership across the broader risk organization. Key Responsibilities

Independently assess complex credit proposals by analyzing borrower structures, financial performance, business models, collateral profiles, and market dynamics. Evaluate repayment capacity and downside risk across a range of structured and corporate credit facilities. Monitor portfolio performance, identify emerging risks, and elevate early warning indicators of credit deterioration. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to enhance portfolio resilience and risk-adjusted returns. Document credit decisions and supporting analysis in a clear, defensible manner consistent with internal governance and regulatory expectations. Partner with origination, portfolio management, legal, and risk teams to structure transactions with appropriate credit protections. Provide subject-matter expertise on complex credit terms, structural features, and documentation considerations, including derivative-related provisions where applicable.
