Personal Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Personal Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment within a family-owned insurance agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines insurance, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to client service.
Compensation Package
Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Health Benefits: Medical insurance with 70% of employee costs covered; voluntary dental and vision plans available
Responsibilities
Full servicing of personal lines accounts, including policy changes, renewals, and claims assistance
Marketing renewals and quoting new business (approximately 80% renewals, 10% new business through cross-selling and referrals)
Managing policy change requests, such as adding or removing vehicles
Assisting clients with claims processing and providing exceptional customer service
Invoicing and ensuring accurate documentation of client accounts
Working with key carriers, including Mercury, Safeco, and the California Fair Plan
Qualifications / Requirements
Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal lines insurance, with familiarity in working with Mercury systems highly preferred
Technical Skills: Proficiency in HawkSoft or similar agency management software
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, organizational aptitude, and a personable, trainable demeanor
