Coda Search│Staffing, New York, New York, us, 10261
A high-growth HealthTech Start-Up is hiring a Director of Finance to take full ownership of finance for a fast-scaling, subscription-driven business. The company launched in 2025 and is already operating at roughly $28–30M in annual recurring subscription revenue, with a fully remote team of 40–50 employees across the US and Israel. This is a hands-on role for someone who can run forecasting, cash planning, and KPI reporting end-to-end, while partnering closely with the founders as the business continues to expand.
Responsibilities
Own forecasting and planning across a multi-product subscription model, including budgeting, monthly reforecasts, and driver-based modeling. Build board-quality reporting and KPI dashboards, with a focus on subscription economics like CAC, churn, cohorts, LTV/CAC, and payback. Run cash planning and liquidity management, including a rolling 13-week cash forecast, weekly cash updates, scenario modeling, and debt draw planning. Manage the outsourced accounting relationship, ensuring clean close processes, reconciliations, and reliable financial outputs; help plan for a future in-house transition as needed. Support diligence and fundraising requests, creating ad-hoc reporting and materials for the founders and stakeholders. Utilize QuickBooks (GL), Gusto (payroll), Ramp (AP/corporate cards) and Excel (financial modeling). Qualifications
7+ years of experience across budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and cash/treasury management. Strong background leading financial operations in a start-up environment. Proven experience in a subscription-based business, ideally with multiple SKUs/products and a strong understanding of churn, CAC, LTV, and retention dynamics. Someone who has built finance processes (planning cadence, reporting packages, operating rhythms, controls). Solid GAAP foundation, including close cadence, reconciliations, and financial hygiene. Comfortable being a true hands-on owner/operator who can do the work directly and keep things moving without a large internal team. Strong Excel/Google Sheets modeling and the ability to pull and work with QuickBooks data; comfort with lightweight BI is helpful.
