Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven Collections Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining relationships with our external collection agencies.
Responsibilities
Manage relationships with 3rd party external collection agencies.
Analyze, monitor, and maintain the status of all active accounts.
File and terminate UCC liens.
Document management.
Review specific state Secretary of State websites to determine if merchants are operational.
Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Experience and Educational Requirements
1+ year in collections agency experience preferred (finance, B2B, or related industry a plus)
Highly organized, an absolute requirement
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
Self‑motivated with a desire to learn and improve processes
Positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Please note that the starting salary will be commensurate with Collections‑related experience.
Salary Range $60,000 - $70,000 USD
