Role Summary Shape the next generation of investment intelligence by helping investors apply advanced AI systems to real research and portfolio challenges. As an Investment AI Adoption Specialist, you will translate cutting‑edge capabilities into practical workflows across Equity, Fixed Income, Multi‑Asset, and TRPIM. You will ensure that external and internal AI innovations become everyday advantages for all investors, improving the quality, speed, and depth of insight across the research process.

Working directly with portfolio managers, directors of research, analysts, and other investment professionals, you will guide how AI integrates into their decision making. You will deliver one‑on‑one coaching, refine prompt and workflow design, and help investors choose the right tools for each task, from research discovery to agentic workflows. By improving answer quality and shaping best practices, you will strengthen the reliability, safety, and impact of AI‑assisted investment work.

This role sits at the center of a high‑profile transformation of how T. Rowe Price conducts research and generates insight. Partnering closely with AI engineers, researchers, and product specialists, you will influence the evolution of emerging agentic capabilities while ensuring they create measurable value on the desk from day one. Responsibilities

Expert in emerging AI technologies, tools, and industry best practices. Monitor emerging AI trends, peer movements, and market signals. Summarize findings into actionable insights to inform strategy and identify whitespace opportunities.

Develop and deliver strategic structured training through office hours, one‑on‑one teach‑ins, and small group clinics designed around investment‑specific workflows on various AI platforms.

Enable associates to become productive quickly by providing clear workflow guidance, best practice coaching, and hands‑on support.

Partner closely with peers in London and APAC to provide follow‑the‑sun coverage with consistent best practices.

Prioritize and route incoming requests in collaboration with Global Desktop Support and platform teams while owning strategic AI workflow implementation for investors to ensure seamless user experiences.

Review AI generated content with users and recommend improved prompting, optimal tool choice, and output accuracy.

Maintain a clear and actionable view of the firm’s AI use case pipeline and broader use case inventory. Support cross‑functional planning and sequencing of initiatives based on business value, complexity, interdependence, and capacity.

Develop use cases, prompt libraries, templates, and micro playbooks that support common investment research and portfolio management workflows.

Refine workflow strategies for use cases such as earnings call analysis, meeting synthesis, research summarization, and investment idea generation.

Help teams adopt new system features and ensure that advanced AI capabilities create a measurable investment impact.

Reinforce safety, compliance, and data stewardship guidelines in all training interactions and workflow consultations.

Help users apply secure workflows for sensitive data and research content.

Capture before and after outcomes, sentiment, and time saved to evaluate impact and inform firm‑wide training and product updates.

Deliver regular updates to leadership on adoption across business units and user personas to ensure meaningful improvement for every investor.

Prepare and deliver high‑quality communications, including presentations, reports, and stakeholder updates.

Strength and breadth of relationships across the Investment organization.

Increased satisfaction and usage of AI capabilities across the investment organization.

Centralized repositories with educational content and best practices.

Demonstrated improvement in research and investment outcomes resulting from AI adoption.

Qualifications

B.S. in investment, quantitative or technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field).

Demonstrated ability to build robust business cases, prioritize initiative portfolios, and drive cross‑functional execution. Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving skills, with comfort navigating ambiguity in complex corporate environments.

Experience in product management, technology strategy, or investor enablement within an investment environment.

5+ years’ experience working with investment professionals (asset management, equity/credit research, or adjacent financial services).

Solid understanding of modern AI/ML technologies (including generative AI and large language models) and their business applications. Able to identify where AI can drive efficiency and innovation.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Proven capability in developing and leading programs in partnership with investment teams to deliver strong client outcomes.

M.S. or MBA in an investment, technical or quantitative discipline.

Knowledge of agent frameworks, workflow orchestration, or RAG concepts.

Experience implementing AI in large‑scale enterprise environments, including exposure to AI governance or ethics frameworks. Experience contributing to technology standards or policies (e.g., model risk management, AI ethics).

10+ years’ experience working with investment professionals (asset management, equity/credit research, or adjacent financial services).

CFA charterholder or active candidate.

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
