Job Overview We are seeking a Technical Writer to create clear, engaging written content that helps our audience understand our processes, services, and expectations. This role will write and maintain resource pages, newsletters, blog posts, and training modules. The ideal candidate is comfortable blending technical accuracy with creative writing to produce content that is both informative and engaging.
Key Responsibilities
Write and edit clear, concise copy for internal and external resource pages focused on process servers and their work
Draft engaging newsletters that highlight updates, best practices, and key initiatives for a largely independent contractor audience
Produce blog posts that educate and inform while using storytelling and creative elements to keep readers engaged
May help develop written content for training modules, including overviews, step-by-step guides, FAQs, and job aids
Collaborate with subject matter experts (including legal, operations, and compliance) to gather information and ensure accuracy
Maintain a consistent voice, tone, and style across all written materials
Organize and structure content so it is easy for busy contractors to navigate and apply in the field
Update and refresh existing content to reflect new policies, processes, or tools
Proofread and quality check materials for grammar, clarity, and alignment with brand standards
Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize and deliver content on schedule
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience as a technical writer in a professional setting
Experience as a technical writer, content writer, or similar role, creating instructional or process-focused content
Demonstrated ability to combine technical clarity with creative, engaging writing
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
Familiarity with basic content management systems or documentation tools preferred
Experience writing for independent contractors, legal services, operations, or compliance environments is a plus, and legal knowledge is helpful but not required
