JOB OVERVIEW As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organizational and time‑management skills while establishing retailer relationships. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally you may also work with other brands in the stores you service.

SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS

Hourly pay rate $14.00‑$16.00 depending on skills and experience.

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

Part‑time position with a variable schedule during the week.

Average weekly hours: 8‑12 hours per week.

Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Day‑to‑day engagement:

Using a mobile device, restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark display at assigned stores.

Holiday support:

Work additional days and extended hours leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May need to work on the actual holiday itself.

Department resets:

Participate in installations and tasks like building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Typically notified two weeks in advance; may include evenings or weekends.

Team vision:

As part of Hallmark’s field organization, support other merchandisers as needed in their territories.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This physically demanding job requires pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds on occasion. Requires kneeling, squatting, walking, and standing throughout the workday, and may involve climbing stairs and step ladders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

At least 18 years of age.

Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Capable of lifting products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Ability to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents.

Access to Wi‑Fi and the Internet.

Reliable transportation to travel to assigned stores as scheduled.
