Job Description Job Summary As a Principal Product Manager for our Small Business security team, you will be a strategic leader shaping the next generation of security solutions. You will partner with engineering to deliver cutting‑edge, AI‑powered products focused on financial fraud and scam protection for small businesses. This role is pivotal in collaborating with marketing and sales to execute go‑to‑market strategies and enable small business organizations to secure themselves with innovative, AI‑driven capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our SMB security product line, with a focus on using AI to solve financial fraud and scam challenges.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to inform product decisions and ensure solutions serve small businesses effectively.
Proactively collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop product prototypes and interfaces that simplify complex security management for small business owners.
Identify and drive integrations with key technology partners, particularly within Fintech, Payments, and Banking sectors that serve Small Businesses.
Work closely with data scientists and AI/ML engineers to develop and integrate advanced fraud detection algorithms.
Create and maintain clear product documentation, including user guides, training materials, and release notes to support go‑to‑market and sales enablement.
Monitor product performance and customer feedback to inform a cycle of continuous product improvements and strategic updates.
Work across functional agile teams—including Engineering, UX, and Marketing—to ensure alignment and successful execution of shared objectives.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent military experience.
7+ years of experience in product management.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with demonstrable experience using data to inform product decisions.
Experience working within an Agile development environment and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate a clear and compelling product vision.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in financial fraud prevention, cybersecurity, or fintech.
Proven track record of launching successful products and services for small businesses (SMBs).
Strong understanding of user experience (UX) design principles and methodologies, with a focus on simplification for non‑technical users.
Demonstrable track record of success in bringing new products to market.
Additional Information The Team Product Management or Product Development Management (PDM) stays ahead of the curve by anticipating the evolving cyber threat landscape and developing proactive solutions. The team supports our products, providing insights and information to Systems Engineers, implementing technical solutions based on client feedback, and ensuring we continuously adapt to emerging challenges.
Compensation Disclosure The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non‑sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $166,000/YR and $268,500/YR.
