Salary $180,000 - $210,000 base + bonus
The Company A nationally recognised healthcare consulting firm specialising in medical equipment planning, clinical transformation, and capital project delivery. The firm partners with leading health systems to support complex hospital, ambulatory, and specialty care projects across the U.S., with a strong and growing presence on the West Coast.
The Role This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for the California region's Medical Equipment Planning practice. The Regional Director will act as the strategic and operational lead for the region - overseeing people, projects, processes, and client relationships.
The role is
fully remote , with regular travel across California to support clients and teams. This is not a hands‑on sales position, but a
regional ownership role
focused on performance, delivery excellence, and long‑term growth.
The successful candidate will treat the region as their business — improving efficiency, strengthening client relationships, developing talent, and expanding the firm's footprint by working closely with existing business development resources.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the California Medical Equipment Planning team, including supervision, mentoring, hiring, and performance development
Own regional delivery standards, workflow management, and process improvement initiatives
Ensure high‑quality project execution across multiple healthcare clients and programs
Build and maintain senior‑level client relationships throughout California
Serve as the regional subject‑matter leader for medical equipment planning
Identify growth opportunities by understanding regional healthcare trends, capital pipelines, and client needs
Partner with internal business development teams to support strategic growth (non‑sales role)
Drive client retention through consistent delivery excellence and trusted advisory relationships
Represent the firm across client meetings, industry engagements, and internal leadership forums
Travel regionally as required to support clients and teams
