Senior Email & Lifecycle Marketing Manager We are seeking an experienced Senior Email & Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own our customer‑facing messaging programs across the full lifecycle. This role will focus on trial and customer onboarding, feature and product adoption, cross‑sell and upsell, and reactivation campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Roadmap
Co‑develop lifecycle marketing strategy with Customer Marketing and Product Marketing to ensure messaging, tone, and timing are aligned across all channels.
Define and manage the email and lifecycle marketing roadmap for onboarding, activation, adoption, upsell, and reactivation.
Leverage Pendo as a core tool for in‑app messaging and feature adoption.
Develop automated, trigger‑based journeys tailored to customer behaviors and lifecycle stages, leveraging demand or product‑led growth methodologies.
Execution & Optimization
Own key lifecycle growth targets (activation, adoption, upsell, reactivation) and be directly accountable for delivering measurable impact on these metrics through email and in‑app programs.
Build and deploy campaigns using Inflection.io (experience with Marketo, Braze, Customer.io or similar tools welcome).
Use Pendo and Inflection.io to deliver coordinated email and in‑app experiences.
Coordinate segmentation, dynamic content, and personalization for maximum relevance.
Design, test, and optimize A/B and multivariate experiments to improve open, click, and conversion rates.
Demonstrated advanced proficiency in leveraging AI tools and automation to design, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns.
Ensure compliance with email best practices and regulations (CAN‑SPAM, GDPR, etc.).
Analytics & Reporting
Track and report KPIs across lifecycle programs (activation, adoption, ups, churn, LTV).
Partner with analytics, GTM Ops, Customer Marketing, and Product Marketing to develop dashboards and actionable insights.
Use data to iterate and scale high‑performing programs.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work in lockstep with Customer Marketing and Product Marketing to plan and execute messaging strategies across email, in‑app, and other channels.
Coordinate with Product and Customer Success to align messaging with launches and customer needs.
Partner with GTM Ops to integrate data flows, improve targeting, and measure impact.
Asset & Process Management
Maintain an organized inventory of email assets, templates, automation flows, and Pendo experiences.
Document and standardize processes for consistent execution.
Qualifications
7+ years of email or lifecycle marketing experience in B2B SaaS or similar environment.
Deep expertise with marketing automation platforms (Inflection.io, Marketo, Braze, Customer.io or comparable tools).
Familiarity with Pendo or similar in‑app engagement platforms, and ability to integrate in‑app and email experiences.
Proven track record of building and scaling automated, personalized lifecycle programs that drive measurable outcomes.
Strong segmentation, testing, and analytics skills with ability to translate insights into action.
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template editing a plus.
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and integrating email with customer data platforms.
Excellent project management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Solid understanding of email compliance (CAN‑SPAM, GDPR, etc.).

$125,700–$157,200 USD.
Draper, UT
$106,900–$133,700 USD.
