Investigate, evaluate, and disposition multimillion‑dollar 3rd‑party property and casualty claims, including multi‑vehicle auto accidents, plant explosions, catastrophic product liability claims, and other complex losses. Review coverage under Excess Commercial General Liability and excess auto policies and participate in claim investigations. Direct litigation efforts, attend mediations and trials, assess liability and damages, and recommend reserves. Present large‑value cases and claim disposition recommendations to senior management. Negotiate multimillion‑dollar claims with top plaintiff attorneys, documenting evaluation, strategy, and using ADR as necessary. Strategize and budget litigation, coordinating with counsel, vendors, and insureds to maintain financial control. Maintain clear and concise communication with internal and external customers, including insureds, brokers, attorneys, and claimants. Qualifications
What you will need to succeed 8+ years of commercial/industry claims experience (preferred). Excellent verbal and written communication and strong negotiation skills. Advanced experience in litigation claims management, including ADR and mediation processes. Experience attending and controlling pre‑suit, litigated, and post‑trial claims at mediations, settlement conferences, etc. Property and Casualty adjusting licenses required and must be obtained within 6 months. Interest in an upwardly mobile career path. Benefits & Compensation
