Director/ VP of Energy Engineering
to support the team! This organization is dedicated to helping clients reduce environmental impact through strategic, data‑driven solutions. The firm specializes in developing and implementing energy efficiency initiatives, procurement strategies, and analytical tools that deliver measurable value and maximize cost savings. Its turnkey design‑build capabilities include renewable energy projects such as solar installations, as well as HVAC and lighting system upgrades. Clients also benefit from advanced energy procurement services and a sophisticated utility bill management platform that enhances tracking, auditing, and budgeting of energy use. Responsibilities
Lead and manage energy engineering projects, including audits, retro‑commissioning, energy modeling, and implementation. Conduct detailed ASHRAE‑standard energy audits, identify high‑impact conservation measures, and analyze energy and cost savings. Produce high‑quality technical and non‑technical reports, proposals, and benchmarking analyses (e.g., Energy Star Portfolio Manager). Communicate effectively with clients and support the sales team through presentations, meetings, and technical guidance. Maintain project schedules and tools, ensure on‑time/on‑budget delivery, and stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Qualifications
Engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's) with
8+ years of experience
in ASHRAE Level 2 audits, energy analysis, and report writing. Strong knowledge of
building energy systems
(HVAC, lighting, plumbing, central plants, controls) and proven ability to calculate energy‑saving strategies. Experience with
energy modeling tools
(eQuest, EnergyPlus, TRACE), utility rebate programs, and familiarity with
State/City Building Performance Standards . Additional strengths such as renewable energy (solar), UK/EU sustainability experience, and knowledge of

incentives; PE and AEE certifications are a plus. Proficient in
project management
and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
