
Our client is a cheese manufacturing company that is searching for a Director, Quality Assurance. The Director will lead the development, implementation, and management of food safety and quality assurance (FSQA) programs across all company operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that all food products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The Director will work closely with various departments, including sales and product development to promote a culture of continuous improvement in food safety and quality.

Develop and execute the company's FSQA strategy, aligning with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Offer expert guidance on cheese manufacturing and product quality to plant personnel, customers, and sales teams. Lead a team of food safety and quality professionals, providing direction, training, and mentorship. Qualifications
Experience in the cheese/dairy manufacturing industry. Master\'s or PhD in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field Minimum of 12 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance, with at least 10 years in a leadership role. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g., SQF, BRC, USDA, FDA, Organic, etc.). Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
