Job Summary The Executive Director – Client Dining Center is the ultimate owner of the guest experience across Morgan Stanley’s flagship executive dining environment. This role is accountable for every moment of the journey—from pre-arrival planning through service execution and post-event follow-through—ensuring consistency, refinement, and trust at the highest level.
Set to be the worlds largest executive client dining center in NYC, this space celebrates precision, refinement and capturing signature moments distinct to the Morgan Stanley brand. This role becomes an extension of the executives within Morgan Stanley – anticipating their needs and working alongside Rapport to consistently maintain the highest level of standards. This leader operates as the architect and steward of experience, setting the standard, shaping culture, and ensuring that execution reflects intention at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Own the complete end-to-end guest experience for executive dining and client events
Define service philosophy, standards, and non-negotiables
Ensure alignment between planning, execution, and follow-up
Lead and develop senior catering leadership
Partner with Culinary, Facilities, Security, and client stakeholders
Serve as final escalation point for guest experience, service quality, and performance
Anticipate executive and client needs before they are articulated
Balance refinement, operational rigor, and discretion
Set the tone, pace, and expectations for the entire Client Dining Center
Requirements
Hospitality Expertise
: 15+ years in the industry, including 3+ years in management—preferably in luxury catering, banquets, or high-volume service environments.
Operational Mastery
: Proven ability to execute complex, multi-floor events with precision and consistency.
Financial Acumen
: Experience in menu costing, contract pricing, and labor cost management.
Leadership Skills
: A track record of building solution-oriented teams and thriving in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
Commitment to Excellence
: Ability to supervise every stage of service with a focus on operational excellence and an elevated guest experience.
