End-to-end out-licensing of preclinical and clinical-stage small molecule therapeutic assets, including partner identification, diligence, valuation, negotiation, and execution of definitive agreements. Independently gather and analyze market, commercial, and technical information to generate actionable business insights to support licensing decisions and transactions. Support the identification, structuring, negotiation and management of strategic partnering transactions with pharma and biotech partners. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management. Willingness to travel approximately 20–40% as required. Ability to work flexibly across global time zones supporting partner interactions. Qualifications & Experience

PhD in Medicinal Chemistry or a related life sciences discipline, with 5–10+ years of experience in US-based biotech and/or global pharma, preferably with direct experience in oncology-focused small-molecule drug discovery programs. Direct experience in small molecule drug discovery and therapeutic asset out-licensing is strongly preferred and will be a key evaluation criterion. Fluency in small molecule drug discovery and development, including interpretation of medicinal chemistry, DMPK, safety, and early clinical data. Strong understanding of the science underlying Oncology biology and the small-molecule drug discovery and development process, from early discovery through IND-enabling stages. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex scientific and business details clearly and persuasively. Highly driven and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and operate with a strong sense of urgency. Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across diverse, multicultural, and globally distributed teams.
