Overview
At FutureCare, our Maintenance Directors are responsible for developing and executing the maintenance prevention program within the facility and determining the need for emergency renovation, carpentry services, plumbing, electrical, and other maintenance services as needed.

Competitive Salary $65-75K
Salary Disclosure Statement The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. All employment offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job‑related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.
Responsibilities
Oversee and approve all necessary repairs or improvements for the facility systems and processes to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance.
Maintain accurate safety records and logs and produce required reports as needed.
Supervise and monitor maintenance staff and maintenance contractors working in the facility.
Provide ongoing preventative maintenance and upkeep of the facility, building, building systems, fire/safety equipment, and medical equipment.
Inspect maintenance work for quality, safety, and compliance.
Maintain a clean, safe working environment (workshop).
Verify daily logs of refrigerator temperatures.
Validate daily test and logs of water temperatures within the facility.
Mandate and observe budgetary guidelines regarding supplies and service and follow proper procedure for purchase order system and approval before ordering supplies.
Adhere to facility policies and procedures.
Act as chairperson for the Safety Committee.
Abide by the standards identified in FutureCare's Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan.
Assure compliance with state and federal regulatory codes.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
College degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering is highly preferred.
Must have at least 5 years experience in plant engineering and a maintenance supervisory role.
Expertise in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, automation systems, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC are essential.
Working knowledge of the principles of supervision, organization, and administration.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills are needed to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Must exercise considerable independent judgment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills are required to work with facility staff, contractors, and the general public.
