Director of Information Technology

The Director of IT Applications is a key IT leadership role that supports business strategy by overseeing the ongoing development, delivery, and governance of the IT applications portfolio. This role provides leadership, vision, and direction to the IT applications team, develops the overall enterprise applications strategy, and ensures the effectiveness of business applications operations and support. Must Haves: 5+ years’ experience leading application support at a senior level , development, and delivery teams in a complex business operation, with a demonstrated track record of successful delivery leadership. 3+ years’ experience managing the design, development, and implementation of enterprise systems (ERP), Oracle Applications, and/or Fusion. Experience with the Oracle suite of enterprise applications (Oracle EBS, OBIEE, OAC). Experience in managing a complex portfolio of business applications at the enterprise level. Strong understanding of software architecture and development, and formal design methodology. Day to Day: Direct business application solution delivery and support. Lead, develop, and mentor the IT applications team. Ensure effective applications analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation. Promote and oversee relationships with business unit leads. Maintain a broad understanding of business workflows, processes, and strategies. Devise and drive application portfolio and lifecycle strategy. Review business processes and technical designs to ensure appropriate use of technology. Provide hands-on guidance in enterprise systems' interoperability, integration, and architecture. Lead application developers/software engineers in solution design, development, and delivery
