Compensation:
Base salary of $75,000 plus uncapped commissions & EOY bonus. Total compensation $120k-140k+.
Wind Watch and Willow Creek

We are seeking a Multi-Club Outing Sales Director to represent both Wind Watch Golf & Country Club and Willow Creek Country Club, delivering personalized service and exceptional attention to detail while guiding clients through every stage of planning and execution to ensure a true private club experience.

Job Summary The Outing Sales Director is responsible for achieving the Annual Sales Plan by driving outside golf tournaments and group outings through targeted sales, marketing, and prospecting efforts. The candidate should have a foundational understanding of both golf and sales operations.
Essential Functions
Actively promote and secure group outings and tournaments by prospecting within Club Members, charities, corporations, local businesses, organizations, and hotels.
Market the club competitively by conducting local competitive assessments, adjusting pricing and package offerings as needed to maintain a strong market position.
Develop and negotiate group outing packages, determining event pricing and closing sales of additional services and merchandise with the group’s main contact.
Assess client needs to determine required services, working closely with the Director of Golf on pricing, proposals, contract creation, signature collection, and deposits.
Guide group contacts in selecting merchandise, food, and beverages, while customizing event formats to meet each group’s specific requirements.
Efficiently manage tee sheet blocks, account for sunrise and sunset schedules, and coordinate with course maintenance to ensure optimal scheduling of outings.
Maintain detailed records of group specifics within Banquet Event Order software, ensuring all event details are documented and regularly updated.
Collaborate with the Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional, and Superintendent to manage the Annual Golf Calendar, including outside outings, maintenance closures, and Member tournaments.
Provide regular updates to the group events calendar and distribute changes during weekly department head meetings in coordination with the Tournament Coordinator and Golf Professional Staff.
Meet and greet clients with a Golf Professional Staff representative, ensuring event setups meet expectations and introducing key staff at the start of each outing.
Provide prompt assistance to guests throughout events and follow up with a personalized thank you and post-event evaluation.
Ensure that all phone calls and emails from Members and Non-Members are returned within 24 hours. Proactively address and resolve client concerns, keeping the Director of Golf informed of any issues.
Uphold the integrity and reputation of both clubs by adhering to all operational standards, policies, and procedures.
About You
Preferred Experience:
Minimum of two years of commissioned sales experience.
Golf Knowledge:
Previous experience in golf operations, sales, and customer service preferred.
Budgeting:
Prior direct financial and budget responsibility experience.
Skills:
Strong multitasking abilities, works well under pressure, and maintains attention to detail.
Team Player:
Capable of fostering relationships with Members, Clients, Employees, and community leaders.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and Banquet Event Order software.
Education:
College degree preferred.
