Tableau Developer - Salesforce Federal Delivery (Cleared - Secret)
Location:
Remote/Hybrid (US-based, DC Metro Area). In-person expectations include visits with customers, Salesforce offices, and to Thunder offices in Tysons Corner, VA.

Role Summary We are seeking a Tableau Developer who plays a key role in driving the successful delivery of complex Federal Salesforce Public Sector solutions by transforming data into actionable insights. This role is responsible for creating sophisticated dashboards and analytics that provide critical leadership visibility and reporting for Federal programs.
Working closely with the Program Manager and Solution Architect, you will function as a bridge between complex data environments and mission-critical decision-making. This position requires a blend of technical mastery in data visualization and the ability to operate within the rigorous security and compliance standards of cleared Federal delivery environments.
Responsibilities
Dashboard Development: Lead the design and implementation of intuitive, high-impact Tableau dashboards and analytics for leadership visibility and reporting.
Data Architecture: Develop detailed data visualization design documents that comply with Federal standards and security requirements.
Reporting Governance: Manage overall program reporting delivery, ensuring adherence to Federal standards for security and reporting within Salesforce and Tableau environments.
Strategic Collaboration: Serve as a primary point of contact for cleared Federal stakeholders, facilitating technical discovery to align data solutions with mission strategies.
System Integration: Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure seamless data flows between Salesforce Government Cloud Plus, AWS, and Tableau.
Performance Metrics: Track program performance metrics and provide transparent, timely communication through executive-level status reports and program dashboards.
Qualifications
Active Security Clearance required (Secret).
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
7-10+ years of IT program or project experience, with a focus on data analytics in large-scale Federal environments.
3-5+ years of proven experience creating analytics for programs that utilize Salesforce Government Cloud Plus, Service Cloud, and/or Agentforce.
Technical Mastery: Exceptional expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Online, and SQL, with the ability to architect data solutions within secure Government Cloud environments.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional executive-level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Strategic Planning: Strong strategic planning, governance, and organizational skills.
Certifications: Tableau Desktop Specialist or Certified Data Analyst preferred; PMP or CSM is a plus.
