Ursuline Academy seeks an Advancement Events & Engagement Manager to lead our signature fundraising events, strengthen parent/community engagement, and support corporate giving. This role is ideal for a nonprofit event professional who enjoys building relationships, working across constituencies, and delivering experiential fundraising that advances mission.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage signature fundraising events (including an annual gala and golf tournament) to support the operating budget. Oversee all event logistics: timelines, budgets, marketing/communications, vendor coordination, guest management, and staffing. Support corporate and individual giving by soliciting and stewarding sponsors, donors, and in-kind partners. Track event performance and follow-up, including gift acknowledgments and revenue reporting. Strengthen parent engagement through recruitment and development of the Parents Guild and volunteer leaders. Serve as Advancement’s liaison for commencement and large-scale community events. Assist with staff appreciation, institutional events, and other Advancement functions as needed. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, special events, or advancement. Experience with corporate sponsorship outreach or corporate giving requests preferred. Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills. Knowledge of fundraising practices; Raiser’s Edge/NXT and independent school experience a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects, maintain confidentiality, and align with our mission. Successful background check required.
