Our client, a wholesale fashion accessories company, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Jr. Designer and Merchandiser to support their Product & Design team in NYC!
Responsibilities
Produce CADs and artwork for socks, hosiery, and related products
Assist in conceptualizing and designing efficient, visually compelling packaging
Create professional sales tools, including sell sheets and web-ready files
Maintain and organize product artwork files and documentation
Support vendors during sampling and production to meet product development timelines
Conduct trend research and competitive shopping to inform designs
Assist in preparing presentations, trend boards, and sales materials
Collaborate with sales and merchandising teams to ensure artwork aligns with customer expectations
Qualifications
1–3 years of product design experience, preferably in fashion, hosiery, or accessories
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
