Responsibilities
Executive Director will define and execute the strategy that powers Acadia’s commercial success, overseeing Strategic Forecasting, Omnichannel Enablement, and Field Force Effectiveness.
Drive data-driven planning, resource optimization, and cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Finance, IT, and Marketing to enable high-impact customer engagement and measurable business growth.
Translate insights into action, leveraging technology and analytics to enhance field performance, omnichannel coordination, and portfolio value.
Report into senior Commercial leadership and shape how Acadia engages customers, deploys resources, and measures performance across brands.
Strategic Leadership & Vision: Define and champion the multi-year strategic vision and roadmap for commercial planning and enablement; align activities to corporate goals and revenue objectives.
Strategic Forecasting (Lead Vertical): Oversee development and presentation of robust, data-driven forecasts; drive continuous improvement in forecasting methodology and tools; incorporate primary market research, secondary data, and competitive intelligence.
Omnichannel Enablement (Lead Vertical): Direct strategy and execution of an integrated omnichannel customer engagement model; ensure technology stack enables seamless, personalized experiences across channels; lead NBA logic, segmentation, and dynamic targeting.
Field Force Effectiveness and Incentive Compensation (Lead Vertical): Provide oversight for FFE initiatives including sizing, territory planning, call plan strategies; govern Field Incentive Compensation design and governance; ensure alignment with brand strategy and forecast goals.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a high-performing team across Forecasting, Omnichannel, and FFE/IC; foster a data-driven, collaborative, compliant culture focused on patient outcomes.
Education/Experience/Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, STEM, or related field. MBA preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical/medical device industry with cross-functional leadership experience.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in pharma/biotech, with at least 5 years in leadership/executive roles overseeing strategic planning, commercial operations, or analytics.
Deep expertise in Strategic Sales Forecasting.
Extensive experience with Field Force Effectiveness and Incentive Compensation design and execution in a US pharmaceutical setting.
Proven track record of driving Omnichannel/Digital engagement strategies and technology platforms (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce CRM).
Ability to lead large, complex projects, manage multi-million dollar budgets, and drive organizational change.
Strong executive presence and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to translate data into actionable strategy.
Commitment to high ethical standards and full regulatory compliance.
Physical Requirements This role involves regular standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands for handling or operating equipment. May involve reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching. Travel may be required; occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
Salary & Benefits
Base salary in the range of $244,000—$305,000 USD.
Discretionary bonus and equity awards based on performance; actual amounts vary by experience, performance, and location.
