Save Job

Who We Are Imprint is reimagining co-branded credit cards & financial products to be smarter, more rewarding, and truly brand-first. We partner with companies like Crate & Barrel, Rakuten, Booking.com, H-E-B, Fetch, and Brooks Brothers to launch modern credit programs that deepen loyalty, unlock savings, and drive growth. Our platform combines advanced payments infrastructure, intelligent underwriting, and seamless UX to help brands offer powerful financial products—without becoming a bank.

Co-branded cards account for over $300 billion in U.S. annual spend—but most are still powered by legacy banks. Imprint is the modern alternative: flexible, tech-forward, and built for today’s consumer. Backed by Kleiner Perkins, Thrive Capital, and Khosla Ventures, we’re building a world-class team to redefine how people pay—and how brands grow. If you want to work fast, solve hard problems, and make a real impact, we’d love to meet you.

The Role We’re looking for a Head of Fraud Strategy to build and scale a best-in-class fraud prevention program that supports rapid product growth and protects our customers. This is a highly cross-functional leadership role with direct influence over Imprint’s bottom line, user experience, and platform trust.

You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Data teams to develop proactive strategies that detect, deter, and respond to fraud — all while enabling innovation. You would own fraud across all stages of customer life cycle including onboarding, transaction, account maintenance and payments

What You’ll Do

Own Imprint’s fraud strategy — from prevention to detection to response — ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory expectations

Design and implement scalable fraud policies, controls, and tooling across the customer lifecycle (e.g., application, account usage, payments)

Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Data, and Operations to embed fraud thinking into products and processes

Build and mentor a high-performing fraud function, including analysts and managers

Drive key fraud metrics and reporting, communicating risk posture and emerging threats to leadership and external stakeholders

Collaborate with compliance and legal to ensure fraud controls align with regulatory frameworks and risk tolerance

Stay current on fraud trends, emerging threats, and industry best practices

What We’re Looking For

8+ years of experience in fraud, risk, trust & safety, or related fields, preferably in fintech or a high-growth tech environment

Proven track record of building and scaling fraud teams, and systems

Strong understanding of fraud vectors (identity theft, payments fraud, first- and third-party fraud, etc.) and related controls

Experience working cross-functionally in product-driven orgs with complex systems

Strategic thinker with an ability to operate at both 30,000 feet and in the details

Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in SQL, Python, or PySpark for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis to identify fraud patterns and optimize strategies

Strong communication, leadership, and storytelling skills — you can influence across functions and levels

Familiarity with fraud detection tools, ML models and compliance requirements is a plus

Perks & Benefits

Competitive compensation and equity packages

Leading configured work computers of your choice

Flexible paid time off

Fully covered, high-quality healthcare, including fully covered dependent coverage

Additional health coverage includes access to One Medical and the option to enroll in an FSA

20 weeks of paid parental leave for the primary caregiver and 8 weeks for all new parents

Access to industry-leading technology across all of our business units, stemming from our philosophy that we should invest in resources for our team that foster innovation, optimization, and productivity
