Role Overview We are seeking a senior fundraising and partnerships leader to build and expand a high-impact donor and corporate partner network. This role will focus on cultivating major gifts, strategic partnerships, and long-term philanthropic relationships across corporate, entertainment, and high-net-worth communities.
The Head of Fundraising, Major Gifts & Strategic Partnerships will work closely with executive leadership to advance donor engagement and secure transformational funding. This role will also play a key part in planning and executing major international fundraising events and galas.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in high-level relationship building, understands donor ecosystems, and is motivated by mission-driven impact.
Key Responsibilities
Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of major donors, corporate partners, and UHNW philanthropists
Leverage an established personal network to expand donor and partnership pipelines
Develop and execute strategies to secure six- and seven-figure gifts and sponsorships
Partner closely with executive leadership on donor outreach, prospecting, and engagement strategy
Support fundraising strategy and donor programming for high-profile international galas and events
Represent the organization at cultural, corporate, and philanthropic engagements
Create compelling proposals, presentations, and donor communicationsMaintain high-touch stewardship practices to drive long-term donor loyalty and growth
Track donor activity, opportunities, and outcomes in coordination with internal teams
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in senior fundraising, major gifts, or strategic partnerships
Proven success securing significant philanthropic and corporate contributions
Established network within corporate, entertainment, and philanthropic communities, particularly in New York
Strong executive presence with polished donor-facing communication skills
Experience supporting high-visibility fundraising events and galas
Highly organized, relationship-driven, and comfortable in high-profile environments
Genuine passion for mission-driven and humanitarian work
Compensation Base Salary: $150,000
Bonus: Performance-based incentive aligned with fundraising results, donor growth, and partnership impact
Compensation may be adjusted over time based on candidate experience, network, and market response.
