
Overview
Tubac Golf Resort & Spa, a premier destination resort in Southern Arizona and part of the Arizona Hideaway Collection, is seeking an experienced and driven Director of Sales to lead our on-site sales operation. This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing a high-performing sales and administrative team that generates multi-million-dollar annual revenue across group, event, and resort business. While this property is affiliated with Troon, the candidate will be an employee of the Arizona Hideaway Collection.
Position Overview The Director of Sales will oversee all sales activities, lead a team of 3–4 sales and administrative professionals, and actively participate in generating new business. This role is primarily on-site at the resort, with select travel required to cultivate new relationships and leads.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a sales and administrative team of 3–4 employees
Develop and execute strategy for group, wedding, golf and other resort business
Generate new business through prospecting, networking, site visits, and travel
Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting to leadership
Negotiate and manage contracts for group, event, and transient business
Ensure strong coordination between sales, operations, and resort leadership
Maintain accurate data and reporting within CRM and room management systems
Partner with marketing on campaigns, lead generation and conversion strategies
Represent Tubac Golf Resort & Spa professionally in the marketplace and community
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience leading a sales team in hospitality, resort, or hotel environments
Success generating and managing multi-million-dollar sales portfolios
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with:
Cater Ease
CVent
Microsoft Office 365
CRM systems
Room Management / PMS systems
Solid understanding of contract negotiation and management
Ability to work on-site and travel as needed for business development
