Role Summary The Director of Strategic Accounts is responsible for leading and scaling engagement with MSP aggregators and multi‑entity strategic customers. This role oversees strategy, execution, and outcomes for a defined portfolio of high‑value accounts, with a focus on customers influenced by private equity, M&A activity, and portfolio complexity. This position provides leadership to Strategic Account Managers and serves as the primary escalation point for complex commercial, operational, and customer‑facing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Own strategy and performance for assigned aggregator and multi‑entity strategic accounts
Lead, coach, and develop Strategic Account Managers supporting these accounts
Establish executive‑level relationships with customer leadership, including operational and technical stakeholders
Drive expansion, standardization, and retention initiatives across multi‑entity environments
Provide oversight and guidance on deal strategy and commercial positioning
Serve as the primary escalation point for strategic account issues and opportunities
Manage MDF planning and execution for assigned strategic initiatives
Partner cross‑functionally with internal teams to align resources and outcomes
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in software or cybersecurity sales environments
Prior people leadership experience within sales or account management teams
Experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder enterprise or strategic accounts
Strong communication and executive presence
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with PE‑backed organizations, MSPs, or M&A‑driven customers
Background in cybersecurity, IT services, or SaaS platforms
Technical foundation through prior experience, education, or certifications
