MBA degree 10 years of executive experience Experience operating in a global role on a global scale Experience with executive digital transformation within a major manufacturing organization and consulting Deep knowledge of industrial automation (OT) systems Track record of established, actionable relevant executive/C-suite relationships and a sterling reputation within the automotive ecosystem About The Job

The Global Industry Lead, Automotive, Google Cloud, is a highly visible senior leadership role in the accelerating cloud business. As the leader you will coordinate a cross-functional global team to exceed challenging growth targets. Displaying a “customer first” orientation, you will understand the value of Google’s enterprise solutions and will bring a strong operational approach to define industry product and solution strategy in close collaboration with customers. You will run the business autonomously while leveraging broader organizational connections. Additionally, you will analyze industry trends and inform product roadmaps, design go-to-market strategies and coordinate for emerging solutions and first-of-kind agreements, engage with key industry customers to provide unique domain expertise and to co-design products/solutions, and manage iterative product development processes necessary for new-to-world AI-based solutions. You'll partner with other functional teams across Product, Legal, Compliance, GTM Practice and Enablement to ensure excellent execution and success of the alliances. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $262,000-$369,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Own the global automotive strategy and solution offerings, evolving the cross-functional operating model to ensure seamless organizational coordination. Translate customer demand into industry-specific solutions by partnering with product teams to define clear priorities, joint initiatives, and innovation roadmaps. Act as a global thought leader through high-profile events and publications, driving Google Cloud’s influence across the automotive sector. Manage strategic ISV and tech partnerships, oversee potential acquisitions, and ensure high-quality enablement for Systems Integrator (SI) partners. Build and foster deep relationships with internal Google leaders and external C-suite executives to drive alignment and long-term alliance success.
