The Associate of Investor Relations & Capital Markets will be an integral member of IMPACT’s Investor Relations & Capital Markets team with responsibility for a broad spectrum of activities that support capital raising efforts, investor reporting, on-going investor relations ("IR"), and investor communications. Over time, with demonstrated performance and experience, this role is expected to grow to include more client-facing responsibilities.
Salary Range: $110,000-145,000
Responsibilities
Manage the development, execution, and ongoing maintenance of marketing & IR materials and collateral including, but not limited to, PPMs, presentations, white papers, reports, due diligence questionnaires, requests for proposals, requests for information, online external databases, as well as responses to ad hoc investor requests. Support the development and execution of the annual IMPACT report. Assist in the development and execution of on-going and new capital raising strategies and campaigns, in close coordination with the MD IR. Using independent judgement and discretion, manage on-going research and analysis to support IR & Capital Raising initiatives, market intelligence, market research, and competitive information analysis. Using judgement and discretion aligned with corporate priorities and investor interests, support the maintenance and further development of the IR & Capital Raising CRM database. Support creation of pipeline and investor activity reports. In coordination with the Investments Team, exercise discretion in maintaining and organizing updates to investment models and related quantitative marketing and reporting information Respond in a timely and professional manner to a broad range of investor requests across investment strategies, market related topics, and current investments, evaluating the nature and priority of such requests. Develop, maintain and refine prospect lists using independent judgment regarding relevance, investor fit, and strategic priorities. Assist with outreach strategies, including targeted outreach to new prospective investors and consultants, under the supervision of the MD IR. Support on-going IR & Capital Raising activities through non-routine, project based assignments, including travel as required. Build and maintain cross-functional working relationships and collaborate across the firm to independently gather, evaluate and synthesize data and information required for materials and responses. Manage deadlines, work sequencing and priorities independently, and support the organization and coordination of investor meetings and communications, including ad-hoc meetings and calls, annual meetings, roadshows, and conferences. Exercise discretion in preparing and coordinating materials such as presentations, reports, agendas, internal background information, and meeting minutes. Qualifications
Minimum of two years of experience in IR/capital raising roles at private equity, private credit, or investment consultant firms; or related roles within the institutional financial services industry. Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree or other professional finance/investment certification/credentials are preferred. Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise judgment in unstructured environments while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities. Strong attention to detail and quantitative skills, with experience analyzing financial or investment-related data. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex financial or investment-related information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience using CRM databases. Experience interacting professionally with institutional investors and consultants, including in-person meetings, written communications, phone calls, and conference participation. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional working relationships across teams and with external stakeholders. Willingness to travel as required. Proven capacity to take on increasing responsibility over time and manage evolving responsibilities in prior roles or projects. Personal Characteristics
