Job Details The Vice President, Strategic Partnerships will support AnewHealth’s strategy to develop, structure, and scale managed pharmacy service partnerships for provider groups and strategic partners - including IPAs (Independent Physician Associations), large physician practices, and MSOs (Managed Services Organizations) that organize, aggregate, and provide enhanced management services to providers.

This leader will support with driving the full partnership lifecycle from business development and market engagement through due diligence, term sheet negotiation, pilot design, and long‑term managed service agreements (MSAs) while ensuring operational readiness across shared services (operations, IT, finance, quality, marketing, HR).

Initially, this role will function as an individual contributor with support from Solution Design, Implementation, and Account Management. As the managed service model business segment grows, the expectation is that the team will expand in alignment with opportunity and growth potential.

Responsibilities Strategic Partnerships

Support partnership lifecycle: prospecting, due diligence, term sheet negotiation, pilot scoping, and MSA execution.

Build trusted relationships with provider organization executives, including CEOs, CMOs, and clinical/operations leaders.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with AnewHealth’s operations, finance, technology, HR, talent acquisition, marketing, compliance, and other departments to ensure seamless onboarding and long‑term partner satisfaction.

Serve as the senior relationship lead for strategic accounts, identifying ongoing opportunities for growth and collaboration.

Business Development

Identify and qualify new partnership opportunities aligned with AnewHealth’s managed service model (PV1 front‑end pharmacy + AnewHealth central fill).

Maintain a robust pipeline of provider groups and strategic partners; lead outreach, presentations, and executive‑level relationship management.

Partner with finance to develop compelling proposals and pricing models that articulate both revenue/profit potential and clinical impact.

Model Design & Implementation

Support the design of PV1 front‑end workflows integrated with AnewHealth central fill; ensure readiness across shared services.

Manage pilot timelines (implementation ~6 weeks; pilot 4–6 months) and oversee post‑pilot decision processes.

Develop value propositions and performance metrics tied to measurable outcomes.

Establish governance rhythms (steering committees, QBRs) to ensure model success.

Leadership & Collaboration

Coordinate internal teams and external partner executives to drive alignment and execution.

Lead change management initiatives and resolve issues to ensure long‑term partnership success.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or equivalent experience to justify an exception, required.

PharmD or RPh preferred, MBA a plus.

Experience

10+ years in pharmacy services, PBM, specialty pharmacy, or health system partnerships.

Proven track record in business development and strategic deal structuring.

Deep knowledge of pharmacy operations, compliance, and managed service models.

Demonstrated success establishing partnerships with provider organizations (home health, primary care, specialty care, IDNs, or MSOs).

Knowledge of pharmacy services, medication management programs, or healthcare technology solutions strongly preferred.

Skills & Abilities

Ability to develop and close complex healthcare partnerships with executive‑level stakeholders.

Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems, referral dynamics, and reimbursement models.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.

Entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to improving care for patients with chronic and complex needs.

Success Metrics

Conversion of managed service opportunities into signed agreements.

On‑time delivery of term sheet → pilot → go‑live milestones.

Achievement of KPIs (adherence, revenue/profit, SLA compliance).

Positive partner satisfaction, renewal, and expansion decisions.

Physical/Mental Demands This position is administrative in nature and will present physical demands requisite to a position requiring: hearing, seeing, sitting, standing, talking, and walking. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to commute to multiple site locations within assigned territory. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.

Expected Hours of Work This is a full‑time position with an expectation to work an average of 40 hours per week and be available outside of normal business hours to meet customer expectations on an ad‑hoc basis. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.

Travel Travel may be required for special organization or department events, department team meetings, trade shows, conferences, and other client engagements.
