As we continue to scale, we are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our U.S. legal team and play a critical role at the intersection of payments regulation, product innovation, and commercial growth. This is a high-impact role for a commercially minded attorney who thrives in fast-paced, global environments. You will serve as a trusted legal advisor to product, business, and compliance leaders, helping shape how a leading cross-border payments platform navigates U.S. regulatory frameworks while continuing to innovate at scale. You will work on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters, provide practical and risk-adjusted legal advice, and contribute directly to the success of PingPong’s U.S. and other regional market’s business. Working Relationships

Report to Legal Director of Payment Partners closely with Product, Business Development, Sales, Compliance, Risk, and Operations Collaborates daily with legal and business colleagues across PingPong’s global offices Principal Elements and Accountabilities

Deeply understand PingPong’s U.S. and global payment products and operation, and provide advice to enable PingPong’s U.S. and international growth. Be the legal owner of the product and business within your scope Provide full product life-cycle counseling, from ideation and development to launch, operation and sunset, covering product and operational legal risk under U.S. payment related regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, state money transmission laws, AML and sanctions requirements, etc. Work cross-functionally with different key colleagues, including Compliance, Finance, Business, IT and Product. Provide proactive counseling to the other teams to deliver pragmatic, business-focused legal advice that supports revenue growth while managing regulatory risk Contribute to the development and refinement of legal processes that enable PingPong to scale efficiently and compliantly Respond promptly to a wide range of sophisticated legal request and coordinate closely within Legal department to ensure the swift delivery of thoughtful and practical advice Operate in a fast paced, demanding environment and quickly adjust to meet the business need Handle ad hoc matters such as corporate governance and labor issues Qualifications and Experience

6+ years of legal experience, either in-house or at a law firm, with a strong preference for experience in the payments, fintech, or financial services industry Demonstrated experience advising on regulatory matters impacting payment products, preferably including money transmission, AML/BSA, sanctions, and consumer protection Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to provide clear, practical, and risk-balanced advice Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-growing environments Competencies and Behaviours

Pursuant to Section 8-102 of title 8 of the New York City administrative code, the base salary range for this role is $260,000 - $280,000. Total compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
