Urgent requirement for a
Business Development Manager
at a rapidly growing Biotechnology company in the Chicago Area.
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D., a background in Pharmacology and play a role in networking and consulting within the Biotechnology industry!
A strong background in mouse models and wet labs experience is essential too.
This is an exciting opportunity for a subject matter expert to engage in consultative sales within the biotech space. You do not need much of a sales background going into the position.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Develop expertise in both the science and business aspects of the role
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, lead negotiations, and close deals
Attend trade shows and industry conferences
Enjoy networking with leading scientists in biotech and biopharma
