In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Partner closely with business-line leaders to understand and surface their strategic priorities, pain points, and innovation gaps.
Develop and maintain a global startup and VC ecosystem map, tracking emerging technologies, market entrants, and venture capital trends aligned with financial-services innovation priorities.
Source, evaluate, and recommend early-stage and growth-stage startups that can address business challenges; manage outreach, screening, diligence, and pilot structuring.
Lead the design, onboarding, execution, and oversight of POCs and rapid pilots through the Ascent Program, working cross-functionally with engineering, legal, risk, business, and external stakeholders to size opportunities, define success metrics, structure contracts, and guide commercialization.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
8+ years of work experience in strategic partnerships, project management, corporate venturing, strategy or product management, preferably within financial services.
Proven ability to engage with startups, VCs, and ecosystem players-sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and executing startup engagements or pilot programs.
Comfortable negotiating partnerships with startup founders and building trusted relationships that lead to long-term collaboration.
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of financial-services business models.
