Job Description The Corporate Development & Strategy Analyst assists in evaluating potential M&A transactions and strategic investments by building financial models, supporting due diligence, and developing business cases for acquisitions and strategic partnerships. This individual will also support market and industry analysis as well as other strategic initiatives at Nextracker. The position requires strong business acumen, an understanding of power generation system economics and product ecosystems, a strategic mindset, and sophisticated financial modelling skills. The full‑time professional position reports to the Chief Strategy Officer.

Duties And Responsibilities

Analyze potential investments, acquisitions, and partnerships through detailed financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market comparables assessments

Create clear, data‑driven presentations and memos to summarize key deal characteristics and insights for senior leadership

Analyze value creation/ synergy potential, integration considerations, and risks for acquisition targets and partnership opportunities

Support cross‑functional leaders in assessing strategic opportunities and broad due diligence support

Leverage market and competitive intelligence data to create industry assessments that inform decision‑making related to transactions

Support transactions team by managing due diligence platform/ virtual datarooms and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain timelines and deliverables

Build and maintain models to evaluate general strategic growth opportunities aligned with corporate strategy, including scenario analyses

Qualifications

Degree in accounting, finance, economics or a similar quantitative field (MBA or CFA a plus)

3+ years experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development or strategic finance (energy industry experience a strong plus)

Fluency in accounting and financial modeling with strong overall business acumen

Excellent strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills with ability to distill complex analyses into simple terms

Superior written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate cross‑functionally and comfort presenting to senior leadership

Ability to build strong collaborative working relationships while independently managing project objectives

Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

Compensation range: $130,000–160,000
