The Director role leads mergers and acquisitions, business partnerships and corporate strategy work with our clients. The individual will work closely with the Managing Director on market opportunities and sourcing/securing business. They will be actively involved in client engagements while driving M&A strategy; developing and fostering the pipeline of potential opportunities; and analyzing and leading corporate development activities.
Responsibilities Meaningfully contribute to business and market development Craft client and deal strategies and manage execution throughout deal lifecycle Manage transactions end-to-end, monitoring progress and supporting VP and team in achieving successful outcomes Negotiate successful close for assigned deals independently or with limited support Lead teams in completing and publishing healthcare research and thought leadership and leverage junior staff as key learning and development opportunity Play a key leadership role in attracting, interviewing, mentoring, developing, and retaining top talent Stay abreast of new developments within assigned healthcare sectors by monitoring the activities of potential buyers, including regular direct briefings with key management to have first person knowledge of their acquisition strategies and criteria Track recent M&A activity within the industry Ability to assess the market, identify opportunities and collaborate to secure high value business Collaboration & team skills; with a focus on cross-group collaboration
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or Military Experience At least 8 years of investment banking experience including Mergers & Acquisitions At least 5 years of experience in healthcare services and healthcare technology industries FINRA Licenses - 63, 79, SIE
Preferred Qualifications At least 9 years of investment banking experience including Mergers & Acquisitions
