About the Role

Principal Adoption Digital Strategist
with deep expertise in transformation, operating model design, and enterprise change management to lead adoption and value realization for Adobe's most complex, high-impact customer programs. This role is designed for a senior adoption leader with AI gravitas and deep passion—someone who can confidently advise executives on how AI reshapes operating models, decision-making, governance, and workforce capabilities, not just how tools are deployed. The Principal Adoption Digital Strategist operates as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior leadership, shaping adoption strategy across multi-year, multi-workstream transformations. The ideal candidate combines strategic depth with delivery credibility and is comfortable navigating ambiguity, scale, and complexity especially for AI programs. What You Do
Lead Enterprise Adoption Strategy
Own and shape end-to-end adoption strategies for large-scale, AI-enabled transformation programs Apply advanced change management expertise (Prosci ADKAR) to complex organizational, cultural, and capability shifts driven by marketing tech stack Translate AI strategy into clear adoption roadmaps spanning operating model, governance, roles, and behaviors Advise on AI Operating Models
Lead future-state operating model design for organizations adopting AI at scale Define decision rights, governance structures, accountability models, and cross-functional ways of working enabled Guide leaders through the organizational trade-offs required to move to enterprise AI adoption Drive Complex Program Adoption
Lead adoption across multi-workstream, multi-geography, and multi-year programs Anticipate and manage adoption risks across interdependent teams, platforms, and business units Partner with program leadership to integrate operating models and change strategy into overall program governance Executive Leadership
Serve as an advisor to senior executives across Marketing, Digital, IT, Data, Operations, and HR Lead executive visioning sessions focused on AI strategy, adoption readiness, and organizational implications Communicate complex AI and organizational concepts with clarity, confidence, and executive presence Measure Value & Institutionalize Change
Define adoption and value metrics tied to AI usage, behavior change, and business outcomes Establish feedback loops and governance mechanisms to sustain AI adoption over time Ensure AI adoption is responsible, scalable, and embedded into day-to-day operations Develop Capability & Practice Leadership
Mentor and develop adoption strategists Set standards for AI adoption, operating model design, and change management excellence Contribute and drive thought leadership that builds Adobe's point of view on AI adoption What You Bring
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in adoption, change management, operating model design, or digital transformation roles within consulting or enterprise environments Active Prosci ADKAR certification (or equivalent enterprise change methodology) Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale transformation programs Deep expertise in operating model design and organizational change Proven ability to lead complex, ambiguous programs with multiple collaborators and workstreams Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills, including executive-ready presentations Strong strategic, analytical, and systems-thinking capabilities Bachelor's degree required Willingness to travel to client sites as needed Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $165,100 – $306,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $211,500 – $306,300. In New York, the pay range for this position is $211,500 – $306,300. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
