## OverviewThis wonderful TriBeCa family welcomed their brand new baby boy into the world in early October. They've been adjusting to life as new parents with the help of a newborn care specialist and are now getting ready to transition to a full-time nanny. That's where you come in! They'd love to get started with an experienced newborn nanny by mid-January and are flexible on the start date, including a December start for the right fit. They relocate to the Hamptons in July and August and will ask the nanny to accompany them, living-in during the week. They will have a pool there, and therefore, having enough swimming ability to save a little one is required. Driving is not required, but is a plus. They'd also love to meet a nanny who is passionate about nutrition and exposing their baby, as he grows, to as many foods as possible.Candidates with a college degree and/or background in early childhood education are encouraged to apply!### The Ideal Candidate for this JobThe ideal nanny will have recent previous newborn nanny experience and is looking to make a long-term commitment with the family. They're looking for a professional candidate who is a high level communicator - somebody who understands how and what to communicate during the day, especially after Mom is back to work and both parents will be out of the home all day (and missing their little guy!). They're looking for previous full-time experience with infants and toddlers, including specifically bath and night-time routines and feeding (in the earlier months, making bottles etc. and then later on, basic cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals). They would prefer a candidate with a background in early childhood education or who has a college degree, but the most important factor is child engagement and development. Somebody who is excited work with their baby and sees the position as a professional job. You'll need three professional nanny references to be considered, plus you'll need to be updated on all of your vaccines. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of nannying or other childcare experience at the full-time level.### ResponsibilitiesAll the typical infant things, like working on his development and helping to create and maintain sleep and eating routines. You'll help with bottles in the beginning, transitioning to making his food as transitions to solids. Help find classes and activities for him and upkeep general tidyness. Baby laundry, sterilizing bottles, etc.### Additional InformationThey relocate to the Hamptons in July and August and will ask the nanny to accompany them, living-in during the week.
