Role Overview
Cashera Capital is seeking an experienced
Head of Credit
to lead and scale the company’s risk management framework across credit, operational, financial, and regulatory risk. This role is critical to ensuring sustainable growth while maintaining strong risk controls within a fast-paced fintech environment. The Head of Risk will work closely with executive leadership, underwriting, compliance, product, and data teams to embed risk-aware decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain Cashera Capital’s enterprise risk management framework. Own and oversee
credit risk strategy , including underwriting policies, risk and portfolio performance. Monitor and manage
operational, fraud, liquidity, and market risks . Partner with underwriting and data teams to refine risk models, scorecards, and approval strategies. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements relevant to fintech and lending operations. Identify emerging risks related to products, technology, partnerships, and market conditions. Drive continuous improvement of controls, policies, and procedures. Act as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team on risk-related matters. Support audits, regulatory inquiries, and third-party risk assessments. Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of experience in risk management within fintech, lending, banking, or financial services. Strong background in
credit risk
(consumer, SME, or alternative lending preferred). Proven experience building and scaling risk frameworks in high-growth environments. Deep understanding of underwriting, risk modeling, and portfolio management. Familiarity with fintech regulatory requirements and compliance standards. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategy.
