Director of Finance & Accounting (Series A Robotics)

Our client is a high-growth robotics company modernizing urban parking. They're approaching Series A ($15mm raised) and are looking for a hands-on finance leader to own accounting, FP&A, and fundraising support, with a clear path to CFO as the company scales.
What You’ll Do
Own day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including GAAP-compliant close, reporting, and cash management.
Maintain clean, audit-ready financials that can support institutional investor diligence.
Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and board materials in support of Series A fundraising.
Partner closely with the CEO on budgeting, cash runway planning, and strategic financial decisions.
Manage revenue recognition, internal controls, and financial systems as the business scales.
What We’re Looking For
5–8+ years of experience in accounting, FP&A, or controllership roles, ideally in a venture-backed or high-growth environment.
Strong GAAP and close-process experience with the ability to operate independently.
Prior exposure to venture fundraising (Seed, Series A, or Series B) in a supporting or analytical role.
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and cash management skills.
Startup mindset. Comfortable wearing multiple hats and building processes from scratch.
