What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Conduct research and analysis in specific areas of Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies and services
Provide guidance to clients selecting, deploying, and operating IAM technologies in corporate and cloud environments
Collaborate as part of a globally distributed team of analysts
Write clear, actionable advisory research documents and deliver high‑quality advice through various media
Respond to client inquiries and maintain Gartner's industry leadership reputation
What is Required (Qualifications):
12 years or more of experience in a research or technology‑related role
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to recognize patterns and draw conclusions
Articulate and succinct communication skills; experience in speaking engagements is an advantage
Expertise in IAM technologies such as Authentication, IGA tools, Access Management, and Privileged Access Management
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Familiarity with IAM program management, governance, and modern digital identity approaches
Knowledge of best practices for IAM technology selection and implementation
