location. Overview
The
Activations & Sponsorships Manager
is responsible for driving high impact events, activations and partnerships that elevate the Cisco Brewers brand and increase business value and guest engagement at our Boston Seaport location. This role calls for a dynamic, highly organized do-er who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and deliver engaging, memorable initiatives and experiences. The Activations & Sponsorships Manager will oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, including developing corporate and community partnerships, coordination with marketing and social media teams, and full ownership of on-site, day-of event logistics. This role will serve as a vital bridge between our brand and the community, ensuring our events and activities reflect Cisco Brewers\' values and vibe, and are additive to Cisco Brewers Seaport’s success and growth. Plan, coordinate, and execute on-site public events, festivals and impactful activations at Cisco's Boston Seaport location. Identify and develop high-value sponsorship and partnership opportunities that align with Cisco Brewers' values, brand and community goals. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, non-profit groups and community partners to deliver engaging, memorable experiences that enhance brand value and revenue. Develop creative concepts for pop-up experiences, product launches and seasonal celebrations. Ensure all events on the marketing calendar are executed smoothly and stay on-time and on-budget. Manage logistics, including permitting, staffing, vendor relations, setup, breakdown, promotion, decor and securing food and beverage when necessary, ensuring all events are executed smoothly while adhering to timelines and budgets. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to plan and deliver creative event promotions across digital and traditional channels, ensuring strong visibility, engagement, and attendance. Ensure consistency in brand messaging and aesthetics across all activations and other Cisco Brewers locations. Design and implement event toolkits, sponsorship playbooks and performance reporting dashboards. Coordinate and train Cisco and event staff, including volunteers and brand ambassadors, and foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere during events and activations. Implement upselling strategies and initiatives that enhance guest experiences and maximize revenue. Track and report event performance, budget, attendance and other key metrics and conduct post-event evaluations and recap reports to assess success and identify areas for improvement; measure and report on sponsorship initiatives ensuring partner investments are aligned and leveraged for mutual benefit. Build and enhance the business’ competencies and repeatable, scalable processes for special events and activations. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry and Boston market. Troubleshoot to solve problems and quickly make decisions as necessary under pressure and during event execution. Be present onsite at Cisco Brewers Seaport for all activations and events and pre-planning as needed, including evenings and weekends, serving as the primary point of contact for activities and logistics regarding events. Skills & Experience Needed
Our ideal candidate has: Experience planning and managing activations, events and sponsorship implementations. Experience cultivating strong corporate relationships, with a track record of negotiating and executing successful sponsorships a plus. Results-driven self-starter with superb communication, organization and project management skills. Experience leveraging technology and software tools to streamline communication and organizational alignment. Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects at once, prioritizing tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to market events creatively to attract target audiences. Strong upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences while driving revenue. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences. Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think on your feet to quickly and effectively resolve issues in high-pressure situations. Flexibility and ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed on-site at Cisco Seaport location. Familiarity with bar operations and/or event services and hospitality a plus.
